The Story Behind the Forward Path Logo

Forward Path represents our journey to becoming more like the person God designed us to be.

I wanted the logo to represent that journey.

Path:

We find multiple verses about God guiding our path and our way. This is my favorite:

Isaiah 30:21 “Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, 'This is the way; walk in it.’”

Trees

The trees are to represent our 'wilderness' - the hard times and trials.

James 1:2-3 Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.”

Romans 5:3-4 “Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope.”

Mountains

The mountains represent the strength we have because of our faith in God.

Psalm 121:1-2 I lift up my eyes to the mountains, where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth.

Matthew 17:20 Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”
